Kapuso hunk Paulo Avelino has given up his lead role in the the remake of "Temptation Island" due to some health issues. His doctor has advised him to take a rest while he recovers from pneumonia. He is currently in a hospital right now.
This was confirmed by Paulo Avelino's talent manager Leo Dominguez who posted the announcement on Twitter.
"Because (Paulo Avelino) fell ill and is still recuperating, he had no choice but to give up his leading man role in 'temptation island'.:(" Dominguez tweeted.
Meanwhile, his role in the Regal Films' remake of the 1980's cult movie ''Temptation Island" will be filled-up by "Amaya's" Mikael Daez.
