'Aswang', 'Babang Luksa', 'Tower Heist', 'The Thing' hit theaters this week

The "Aswang" remake starring Lovi Poe and Paulo Avelino opens in various cinemas in the country, today, including films about a mourning woman, extra-terrestrial being, and robbing a boss. Check out their trailers and plots below:


"Aswang" - A clan of flesh-eating monsters that burrow underground are terrorizing a small town. But among these monsters is a young female who struggles with her identity. Her loyalties are tested when she falls in love with an outsider, earning the wrath of the clan's leader.

"Babang Luksa" - A woman in mourning inadvertently allows the spirit of a lost loved one to the enter the physical world. The spirit quickly starts causing havoc, leaving the woman and her family in grave danger.

"The Thing" - At an Antarctica research site, the discovery of an alien craft leads to a confrontation between graduate student Kate Lloyd and scientist Dr. Sander Halvorson.

"Tower Heist" - When a group of hard working guys find out they've fallen victim to a wealthy business man's Ponzi scheme, they conspire to rob his high-rise residence.
