Burj Al Arab is a 4th tallest Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and the 1st 7-star hotel in the world. It was constructed in 1994 and was opened for public in 1999. Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 280 m (920 ft) out from Jumeirah beach, and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. The shape of the structure is designed to mimic the sail of a ship. Due to its popularity It is the Iconic symbol of Dubai.
