According to the 5 p.m. bulletin from the PAGASA, Tropical Depression Ramon was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 70 km Southwest of Romblon (12.2°N, 121.6°E). It has maintained its strength at 55 kph maximum sustained winds near its eye. It has changed its course and now heading Northwest at 15 kph.
Public Storm Warning Signal Number 1 has remained raised over the following areas: Marinduque, Mindoro Provinces, Romblon, Southern Quezon, Burias Island, Northern Palawan, Calamian Group of Islands, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Metro Manila, Panay Island and Guimaras Island.
The state weather bureau also reminds residents in low lying and mountainous areas under Public Storm Warning Signals to remain alert against possible flashfloods and landslides.
Rainfall amount from Bagyong Ramon is now estimated to be 5-25 mm per hour (heavy) within the 400 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.
